CG image making is constantly evolving and becoming more sophisticated. A CG film made 10 years ago falls apart at the seams. Todays films look hyperreal but will likely succumb to the same fate. Software is becoming more widely available and user-friendly and there’s a multiplicity of digital styles and conventions being established year on year. Digital art made now can’t help but parade it’s technological origins. Digital historians of the future will be able to date digital content based on filters, effects, resolution and raytracing.
